چکیده
The use of immune checkpoint inhibitors as therapy in adult patients with malignancy has resulted an improvement overall survival. Research on the these drugs pediatric oncology is just beginning. However, results already obtained indicate possibility successful children Hodgkin’s lymphoma and some subtypes non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. This review analyzes studies nivolumab pembrolizumab for treatment search available literature sources was carried out databases PubMed, Scopus, eLibrary, Cyberleninka. also addresses issue possible predictors response to inhibitor children.

Immune checkpoint blockade in hematologic malignancies.
Therapeutic blockade of immune checkpoint pathways, in particular cytotoxic T-lymphocyte associated protein 4 and programmed-death 1 (PD-1), has become a paradigm-shifting treatment in solid tumor oncology. Hematologic malignancies (HMs), many of which are known to have clinically exploitable immune sensitivity, are a natural target for this type of treatment. Several clinical trials of checkpo...

As the data on the epidemiology and outcome of fungal infections in children with hematologic cancer are limited especially in Iran, this study was aimed to delineate the epidemiologic features and outcome of fungal infections in this population. The medical records of all children with hematologic malignancies diagnosed with a fungal infection from 2005 to 2010 at a tertiary pediatric hospita...

Inhibitory molecules such as PD-1, CTLA-4, LAG-3, or TIM-3 play a role to keep a balance in immune function. However, many cancers exploit such molecules to escape immune surveillance. Accumulating data support that their functions are dysregulated in lymphoid neoplasms, including plasma cell myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, and acute myeloid leukemia. In lymphoid neoplasms, aberrations in 9p...
متن کاملImmune checkpoint blockade in human cancer therapy: lung cancer and hematologic malignancies.
Tumor immune evasion is one of the hallmarks of cancer, and expression of the B7 family of immune checkpoints (PD-L1, PD-L2, B7-H3, B7x and HHLA2) is one mechanism of immune evasion by tumors to suppress T-cell function. Antibodies blocking these interactions of B7-1/B7-2/CTLA-4 and PD-L1/PD-L2/PD-1 have had remarkable clinical success in several cancers and are less toxic than traditional chem...
متن کاملPediatric Hematologic Malignancies: Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
Burkitt lymphoma (BL), a tumor occurring in endemic, sporadic and AIDS-associated forms, is the classic example of a human malignancy whose pathogenesis involves a specific cellular genetic change, namely, a chromosomal translocation deregulating expression of the c-myc oncogene, complemented in many cases by the action of an oncogenic virus, the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). Here we review recent ...
